[Exposition internationale de Milan]. [1906]

Roughly one half of the album consists of exterior views of the exposition held at the Parco Sempione, interspersed with views of historical monuments in Milan, such as the Duomo, and adjacent tourist attractions, such as Lake Como. There are a few group portraits, presumably of exposition officials, and views of visitors enjoying themselves in the park. There are several close range exterior views of an Islamic style building labelled "Harem," and many of the French Decorative Arts Pavilion. Nearly all interior views are of the French decorative arts exhibits. These display primarily luxury items such as lace, feather boas, perfumes, china, watches, clocks, gilded furniture and clothing for women and children. Large idealized paintings of French life form the backdrop of some of some of the displays.

Bound in leather with photographs mounted on leaves of heavy paper.
